What a fun week it was for me last week. On Thursday night I went to a music showcase put on by Channel [V] and got to watch four hot new bands rock out three songs each – Scouting For Girls (of She’s So Lovely fame), Trial Kennedy, Lovers Electric and Missing Hours. You probably haven’t heard of the last three, but me thinks by the end of the year you will have. I went along with CLEO intern Kimberlee and we both immersed ourselves in all things musical – like the bar and yummy tomato tarts. But I forgot to bring my damn camera! What kind of CLEO ambassador am I?

The following night it was an interview with the hotties from Missing Hours. Emma is a stunner and Ant, phew! Yup, there are days when this job is just way too much fun! (Again I forgot the camera … grrr). Look out for them touring later in the year. If their three-song snippet on Thursday night was anything to go by, a full-length show will be awesome.
