Hi. My name is Jo and I worked in a button factory the other day… OK – I didn’t really. BUT when I was in school, my friends sang this song to me and I think the button/fashion thing seeped into my subconscious, because all I wanted was to work at a magazine! Two degrees and a year frolicking overseas later and I was ready to start my dream. After dabbling on the web and trying my luck as a stylist, I’m now settled as lifestyle editor – a job that keeps me entertained, fulfilled and more importantly, happy!

On Wednesday night, I was lucky enough to score tickets to the Xbox Sounds gig at Sydney Opera House starring none other than Pussycat Dolls! And boy do I wish I was hot like them!

Despite it pouring down with rain, I couldn’t help but shake my booty to their five tracks - ‘When I Grow Up’, ‘I Hate This Part’, ‘Buttons’, ‘I Need A Man’ and ‘Don’t Cha’ – all sooo good.

I even went straight home to practice my ‘hip flick’ in the mirror – you know the one they do?!?! SSooo cool!

Anyway – it gets better! One industry insider told me there’s another two Xbox Sounds gigs in the next few months. Considering this time they got the Dolls, I can’t wait to see who is next!
