Continually rocking up to work looking like you slept in a bus shelter? Here’s how to hide that brain-dead, post-weekend look...
EYE DROPS
Brighten up tired, puffy, and bloodshot peepers with some eye drops. Even if you don’t feel wide awake, you’ll sure look it!
MAKE-UP
Erase any further evidence of your sleep deprivation (ie. dark circles under eyes) with concealer. You’ll also probably be as white as an A4 sheet, so add a (faux) glow with some bronzing powder – it’s a great mood-booster too. Avoid the “too done” look by skipping the lipstick and opting for gloss instead.
NEAT HAIR
No time for a wash or brush-through? Wrap on a headscarf or put your hair into a high ponytail for an instant fix. Extra points for a leave-in conditioner to revitalise locks while you work.
MINTS
Fresh breath is a must any day but especially when you’ve been gulping down mojitos all weekend! Then you can chat to your colleagues – minus the stinky evidence – about what you, um, didn’t get up to.
ENERGISERS AND MOOD-LIFTERS
One word: vitamins (we dig a daily dose of C and echinacea, to fight cold and flu symptoms). For an instant lift, have an energy drink (hello, Red Bull!) or try a fatigue-fighting tablet, like Hairy Lemon, to get you through your day.
