It's official - a new study reveals why most men prefer "normal weight girls" than size zero models.

"who ****in cares what they think"
A study conducted by scientists at St Andrew’s University found that young men consider women of an average height and build, like Jennifer Lopez and Scarlett Johansson, to be more attractive than skinny starlets such as Victoria Beckham or Paris Hilton.
Men aged 18-26 were asked to rate the attractiveness, health and weight of 84 female students aged 18-26, based on their photographs.
Lead researcher Vinet Coetzee said the young men perceived the girls in the ‘normal’ weight range-- those with a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18.5 and 25 -- ‘to be more attractive and healthy-looking than the underweight or overweight girls’.
Professor of psychology David Perrett, who was also involved in the study, said, "This sends a strong message to all the girls out there who believe you have to be underweight to be attractive."
What's more, the study concluded that there was no “perfect size”. So with summer just around the corner, why not ditch the cabbage soup and no carbs diet and splurge on that new gorgeous swimsuit you’ve been eying!
