Just when you thought the all-singing, all-dancing cult TV show Glee might have a dark undercurrent of intrigue and jealousies amongst its cast running through it … it turns out not to be true.

Mark Salling, who plays bad-boy Puck on the series, has denied reports by Us Weekly magazine that rumoured girlfriend, Naya Rivera, vandalised his Lexus. The magazine reported she keyed the car and covered it with eggs and dog food when she read about him and other girls. But with supermodel Kate Moss outing herself as a Gleek and naming Puck as "the hottest", we think she might have some cause for concern.

"I don't even drive a Lexus," Salling tweeted yesterday. "Silly rumours, we're the best of friends." Salling proved his point by then posting a pic of Naya, who plays cheerleader Santana Lopez, playfully choking him.

You'll have to watch the Glee cast walk the red carpet at the Emmy Awards on Sunday night to see if the tension is indeed real or imagined.
