LiLo wears iconic swimsuit on set of Elizabeth Taylor film

LiLo was a controversial choice to take on the role of the iconic film star, but the 25-year-old undeniably looked the part as she posed in the one-piece (similar to one worn by Liz in 1965) on a luxury yacht docked in LA.

The movie will tell the story of Elizabeth’s passionate yet tumultuous relationship with fellow screen legend Richard Burton, who she divorced, only to marry again 16 months later (before ending the marriage for a second time a year later).

Elizabeth and Richard’s relationship was seriously scandalous when they first hooked-up in the sixties, as they were both married at the time.

Richard Burton is played by Australia's very own Grant Bowler – you know, Constable Wayne Patterson in Blue Heelers!

Bowler has been hitting big overseas, picking up roles in Ugly Betty and True Blood since leaving his Blue Heelers days behind.
