Kristen Stewart named best dressed celebrity

She's been criticised as often as she has been applauded for her wardrobe choices, but UK magazine <i>Glamour</i> still thinks Kristen Stewart deserves the title of best dressed female celebrity.

The powers-that-be at Glamour placed the 22-year-old Twilight actress first on their top five list of stylish female stars, even beating out Emma Watson, Victoria Beckham and (gasp!) the Duchess of Cambridge!

The magazine commended K-Stew's versatile and relatable style.

"Whether she's working bodycon Monique Lhuillier on the red carpet, or dressing down in jeans and a T-shirt, Kristen is always effortlessly on-trend," Glamour wrote.

"Her evolution from awkward teen to style queen has made the Twilight star a fashion icon every girl can relate to."

Stewart has caused a stir more than once at red carpet events, such as when she committed what some fashionistas dubbed a serious (well, as 'serious' as fashion can be) faux pas: swapping heels for Converse sneakers while still in her gown. Quelle horreur!

Glamour also named and shamed their top five worst dressed stars, with a controversial choice of Lady Gaga in second place.
