Robert Pattinson still believes in love

His relationship with Kristen Stewart hit a snag when she was embroiled in a cheating scandal this year, but Robert Pattinson still remains optimistic when it comes to true love.

The couple reportedly split when Stewart’s dalliance with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders went public, but recently it appears the Twilight co-stars have reunited. And it looks like R-Pattz’s ability to forgive Kristen comes from his parents.

As Rob explained to Seventeen magazine when asked if he believes in ‘forever’ love:

"Definitely, yes. It sounds cheesy, but I see it with my parents. My dad met my mom when she was 17 and they’re still happily together."

Rob also explained that he thinks love between two people should be immune to external factors outside the relationship.

"Real relationships are not affected by whatever happens in life. Knowing that you’ll always keep something special no matter what happens is something that has made an impact in my life. That’s one of the biggest lessons I’ve received in life."

There’s been a lot of debate about whether Rob should have taken Kristen back after her infidelity, but we support his decision to follow his heart.

That K-Stew is one lucky gal.
