Would a pair of Christian Louboutins, a Givenchy handbag or a Cartier bracelet be found on your Christmas wish list? Not the fantasy wish list in your head but the actual list you might give to Mum/the boyfriend/Santa Claus to avoid awkward Christmas morning moments. Being realistic, probably not, right?

Well, these high-end items as well as many others are on the REAL wish list of one apparently very optimistic New York woman.

The typed up list was found on a train on the Metro North New York – Connecticut line and found its way into the hands of blogger Velvet in Dupont.

It features hand written side notes of confusion and horror from we can assume her partner, who has done an admirable amount of research into the costs of each item. From his notes, the whole list totals over $20,000.
 
Yowza.

The list begins with some reasonable requests such as noise cancelling headphones and some Penguin Classics, but quickly spirals into luxury items like an Hermes Avalon blanket (specifically Orange) and a Mulberry Alexa Bag ($1,250, according to boyfriend’s research).

The boyfriend’s confusion and despair is noted by a simple question mark he’s put next to the item that just says ‘bicycle’.

No doubt his brain exploded upon reading  ‘Whatever the newest Chanel make-up is (as long as I don’t already have it)’.

Yep, whoever made this list is definitely deluded – she actually expects her man to know the contents of her make-up bag.
