Hmmm… defining your life in 70 words or less is difficult. And even harder now I’ve wasted 18. Ever since I was a little girl I always wanted to write – I even had a rather embarrassing outfit that I thought made me look more like an author (it involved a crisp white shirt, long floral skirt and a pair of glasses.) So I feel really lucky to be part of the CLEO team and get to write about anything and everything on a daily basis. Hooray for fun employment!

Last weekend I got along to check out David Guetta, Franz Ferdinand and Empire of the Sun at the Future Music Festival.

The whole day was really well run with short queues for the toilets and food stands (a ridiculously rare sight when it comes to music fests) and fun distractions like a free roller rink and silent disco.

I was also lucky enough to score an invite to Future Music Festival First Class Lounge which was also visited by cool celebs like designer Alice McCall, MTV VJ Erin McNaught and model Lola Van Vorst.

I would love to tell you I swanned about with the stars, but due to my complete and tragic inability to read a map (I didn’t realise their were multiple lounges) I managed to end up in a completely deserted area that resembled the ballroom in
The Shining where to my utter joy I was able to snack on many platters of FMF branded chocolate cupcakes and duck pancakes to my heart’s content (and by heart I mean stomach).

So to all those people out there who also completely lack navigational skills sometimes getting stupidly lost is way more fun, don’t you think?
