I landed my first magazine job purely by accident whilst I was at uni, and haven’t looked back since. Whether I’m dealing with hectic deadlines, back to back meetings, proof reading like crazy or sending my hundredth email of the day, I honestly love every single second and couldn’t imagine being anywhere else. Plus working at CLEO means that quite literally, I get paid to read a magazine all day. How can you not love that?

It’s been a crazy few weeks at CLEO, which has effectively meant I’ve probably spent more quality time with my desk than my friends. Cue sad face. It was like the perfect date, but you know, minus the guy. I stumbled home at 5am, but there’s just something about a nice girly catch up that leaves you feeling energised.

So in the spirit of organising catch ups, check out cafemenu.com.au. It’s a cute and easy way to get your friends together. That way all you have to worry about is how you’re going to get home at 5am…
